This workshop is geared to those who want to learn, understand and refine the essential actions and mechanics needed to do arm balances with greater mindfulness and ease instead of relying on force.
We will also explore in detail the elusive chaturanga dandasana and how it helps build a great foundation in our arm balances. The strength this pose builds in shoulders, back, core and along with many other benefits is important in creating a sustainable yoga practice. Oftentimes it is done quickly and repeatedly in a flow that if it is not done properly, overtime the shoulders get strained.
Be prepared to have fun, laugh, maybe fall a couple of times as you challenge yourself, explore and discover your own true strength and courage.
